  Puppy photos!!!!

  We'd love some cute shots of your pups to place on a Member's puppies page. It doesn’t matter if you are planning on selling your pups or if you just want to show the world your new additions.

  
  Here is the what you need to email to: Sue White or Jeanie Knapp

  • Photos of you puppy/litter
  • State the color of the puppy/litter
  • Your name and the name of your program
  • Your website address if you have one

  Photos will be added and changed through out the year.

   

  COLORFUL YORKIE PHOTOS NEEDED

  We're looking for a few great, quality, photos of your colorful yorkie to illustrate Parti, Chocolate, Golden (and any color in between). Please submit your photo for consideration to Sue White or Jeanie Knapp If your photo isn't used on the website at this time, it will be kept for possible use in the future.

  COLORFUL YORKSHIRE TERRIER STANDARDS

  Body type, conformation and disposition standards, are the same as the traditional Yorkshire Terrier standards

  • Head: Small and rather flat on top, the skull not too prominent or round, the muzzle not too long, with the bite neither undershot nor overshot and teeth sound. Either scissors bite or level bite is acceptable. Eyes are medium in size and not too prominent, sparkling with a sharp, intelligent expression. Ears are small, V-shaped, carried erect and set not too far apart.
  • Body: Well proportioned and very compact. The back is rather short, the back line level, with height at shoulder the same as at the rump.
  • Legs and Feet: Forelegs should be straight, elbows neither in nor out. Hind legs straight when viewed from behind, but stifles are moderately bent when viewed from the sides. Feet are round. Dew claws, if any, are generally removed from the hind legs. Dew claws on the forelegs may be removed.
  • Tail: Docked to a medium length and carried slightly higher than the level of the back.
  • Coat: Quality, texture and quantity of coat are of prime importance. Hair is glossy, fine and silky in texture. Coat on the body is moderately long and perfectly straight (not wavy). It may be trimmed to floor length to give ease of movement and a neater appearance, if desired. The fall on the head is long, tied with one bow in center of head or parted in the middle and tied with two bows. Hair on muzzle is very long. Hair should be trimmed short on tips of ears and may be trimmed on feet to give them a neat appearance.
  • Colors: Blue and tan, blue and gold, black and tan, black and told, parti, golden, chocolate, golden parti, chocolate parti.
  • Weight: 4-7 lbs.
